With any grace, the above photograph and caption – which I found on Facebook – will be the perfect summary of my life as I portray it on this blog. (Wikipedia’s article on the Japanese aesthetic philosophy itself is well worth reading.) – (יוחנן רכב)

[EDIT @ 2015-11-16: Blogs written by true Christians, like true Christians themselves, have this principle apply to them:]

(Joh 15:1 ESV) “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.
(Joh 15:2 ESV) Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

  1. John – I love the image and find it so deeply appropriate for the heart mind and spirit of the man who seeks God’s wisdom, love and mercy. Truth is what life ought to be and I pray this image is not made another’s image until such time you can allow others to see, feel and hear what is being shared. I know this came at a cost that was not easy but will be most profitable. I respect your decision and where you are going.
    Always with you

  2. Pieces of the puzzle of life. Not just one life but many lives. You are one of those who won’t settle for scattered pieces, you must put them together, make sense of them. As you go your road and do the jobs that you do– you touch many minds and stir many thinking processes into being and beginning to do the same thing. My puzzle has been in a jumble but I see that it is time and past time to put the pieces together.

    • Even naturally, some of us do find it harder than others to organize their lives mentally and physically. But when any of us realize spiritually that it must be done, that knowledge wins half the battle.
